How Halo Clean Works: Step by Step

Schedule Your Pickup

  • Schedule online, in the app, or by calling us. Choose morning (7–11 AM) or evening (5–9 PM) windows.
  • Set laundry preferences once—detergent type, folding style, special handling—and we save them.
  • Don't need to be home? Add instructions like “Behind planter on porch.” We text 15–30 minutes before arrival and after pickup.

We Pick Up & Wash

  • Drivers are background-checked professionals. Bags travel straight to our commercial partner facility in Surprise.
  • Bags are weighed on certified scales so you pay only for what we actually wash.
  • Loads are washed separately in commercial machines following your saved preferences, then dried, inspected, and folded by trained staff.

Fresh & Delivered

  • We guarantee 24-hour turnaround from the moment your laundry hits the facility.
  • You get a text when your order is out for delivery and again when it’s on your doorstep.
  • Delivery is leave-at-door by default (or hand-off if you’re home). PAYG receipts include actual weights and charges.

Most customers leave their bags at the door. Add pickup instructions in your account, receive a text before arrival, and get another text when pickup is complete. Delivery works the same way—leave-at-door by default or hand-off if you’re home.

Need to reschedule? Changes allowed up to 24 hours before your pickup window—no fees. Update in your account or call us.

We serve Surprise, AZ and nearby neighborhoods including Ashton Ranch, Marley Park, Surprise Farms, Greer Ranch, Sun City Grand, and Arizona Traditions—roughly a 30-minute radius from Dysart & Bell. Enter your address during signup to confirm coverage.

Our professional laundromat partner in Surprise handles every order. It’s a commercial facility with industrial machines and trained staff—not someone’s home washer or a gig worker.

Yes. All Halo Clean drivers and partner staff pass background checks before handling customer orders.

Never. Your laundry is washed in its own dedicated load. Keeping loads separate prevents cross-contamination and ensures your preferences are followed.

Use any large bag for your first pickup. We return your laundry in Halo Clean bags, which you can reuse. Subscribers receive bags at no extra cost.

Scheduling & Pickup Questions

Schedule at least 12 hours before your desired window. If a slot appears online, it’s bookable. During busy weeks, schedule 1–2 days ahead for best availability.

No. Most customers leave bags at the door with account instructions like “Behind planter.” We text before arrival and after pickup. Delivery works the same way.

Pay-as-you-go customers get one grace missed pickup per 60 days. Subscribers can simply reschedule. Contact support to book another window.

Yes, up to 24 hours before your window with no penalty. Update in your account or contact us. Same-day cancellations aren’t available, but we’ll help you rebook.

We run 7 days a week with morning (7–11 AM) and evening (5–9 PM) windows. If you see a window online, it’s open.

Delivery is leave-at-door by default. Add detailed instructions in your account if you want it placed somewhere specific. We text when it’s delivered so you can bring it in.

Pricing & Billing Questions

Your first pickup triggers the first charge, then billing recurs every 30 days. Charges happen at the start of each cycle and appear in your account dashboard.

You’re never cut off. If you exceed your tier four times in a row (30+ lbs per bag), we suggest an upgrade. After that, extra pounds are billed at your tier rate. Extra pickups can be scheduled at PAYG pricing with the delivery fee waived.

We hold 100% of your estimate plus a 20% buffer when you schedule. After we weigh the bag, you’re charged for the actual weight and any extra hold is refunded automatically within 3–5 business days.

Unused pickups roll over to the next cycle. You can bank up to two, and they stay valid for 30 days. You never lose a pickup within that window.

Cancel anytime with no fees (current-cycle charges aren’t refunded). After three active months you can pause up to three months, twice per year, with no charges during the pause.

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Card data is stored securely by Stripe, not Halo Clean. We don’t accept cash or checks.

We retry twice automatically. If it still fails, you’ll get an email to update your card. In-progress orders are still delivered, but new orders pause until payment is updated.

Quality & Care Questions

Visible stains are pre-treated before washing. Some stubborn stains may not come out entirely, but we never charge extra for treatment.

Yes. Pick standard or hypoallergenic during signup. Preferences are saved and followed every order.

File a claim from your account with photos. We cover up to $100 per clothing order or $200 per bedding order if the damage happened in our care.

Yes. Items requiring special handling should be noted when scheduling. We don’t accept dry-clean-only items yet.

We don’t handle dry-clean-only pieces, heavily soiled or biohazard items, or large bedding placed in clothing bags. Bedding should be scheduled through the bedding service.

Add permanent preferences in your account or one-time notes when scheduling. Examples: no softener, air dry certain pieces, extra lint roll for pet hair.

Loads are washed in commercial machines with sanitizing temperatures, machines are cleaned regularly, and staff use clean gloves during folding.

Bedding-Specific Questions

Yes. Commercial machines handle oversized items easily. We use down-safe drying cycles so everything returns fluffy.

Bedding with visible pet hair gets extra lint removal and rinse steps before washing. Most hair is removed, though embedded strands may remain.

Full linens (flat, fitted, pillowcases) plus comforter/duvet for the number of beds in your plan. Pillows and mattress covers are à la carte.

Commercial dryers let us control temperature precisely. Shrinking is rare, and covered under our damage protection if caused by our handling.

Never. We ensure every piece is fully dry before folding. If you ever receive a damp item, contact us for a free rewash.

Yes, as an add-on: $19.99 for non-down, $24.99 for down. Add pillows when scheduling a bedding or PAYG order.

Experts recommend sheets every 1–2 weeks and comforters every 2–3 months. Our monthly bedding subscriptions strike a good balance, and you can skip a month for a 30-day credit.
